Detailed description

All modules are available with 4, 8, or 16 inputs and comply with IEC 61131-2. The digital input modules are available in P-type or N-type versions. The digital inputs are designed to meet Type 1 and Type 3 standards. With a maximum input frequency of up to 1 kHz, they are suitable for a wide range of applications. The variant for PLC interface modules enables quick wiring via system cables to the proven Weidmüller interface modules. This ensures rapid integration into your overall system. Two modules with a timestamp function can capture binary control signals and add a timestamp (resolution 1 μs). The UR20-4DI-2W-230V-AC module offers additional solution options, operating with AC voltages up to 230 V as the input signal.

Detailed description

Digital output modules are available in 4DO and 8DO versions with 2-wire and 3-wire technology, as well as 16DO versions with or without a PLC interface connection. They are primarily used for integrating decentralized actuators. All outputs are designed for DC 13 V actuators in accordance with DIN EN 60947-5-1 and IEC 61131-2 specifications. Similar to the digital input modules, frequencies up to 1 kHz are possible. Maximum system safety is ensured by output protection, which consists of an automatic restart following a short circuit. Clearly visible LEDs also indicate the status of the entire module as well as individual channels. In addition to standard applications for digital output modules, the product range also includes special variants, such as the 4RO-SSR module for fast-switching applications. Equipped with solid-state technology, 0.5 A is available for each output. Another option is the 4RO-CO relay module for high-power applications. It is equipped with four changeover contacts, optimized for a switching voltage of 255 V AC, and rated for a switching current of 5 A.

Detailed description

Analog input modules for the u-remote system are available in many variants with different resolutions and wiring configurations.
Variants are available with 12-bit and 16-bit resolution, capable of measuring up to 4 analog sensors with the highest precision at +/-10 V, +/-5 V, 0...10 V, 0... 5 V, 2...10 V, 1...5 V, 0...20 mA, or 4...20 mA. Each connector offers connection options for sensors using 2- or 3-wire technology. The measurement range can be configured individually for each channel. Each channel is also assigned a separate status LED.
A special variant for Weidmüller interface modules enables current measurement with 16-bit resolution and maximum accuracy for up to 8 sensors (0...20 mA or 4...20 mA).

Detailed description

Up to 4 analog actuators with +/-10 V, +/-5 V, 0...10 V, 0...5 V, 2...10 V, 1...5 V, 0...20 mA, or 4... 20 mA with an accuracy of 0.05% of the full-scale range. Each connector provides a connection for one actuator using 2-, 3-, or 4-wire technology. The measurement range is defined per channel via parameterization. Detailed description

The measurement of resistance temperature sensors and thermocouples is essential for many applications. Weidmüller’s 4-channel input modules are designed for all common thermocouples and resistance temperature sensors. With an accuracy of 0.2% of the full-scale range and a resolution of 16 bits, cable breaks and values exceeding or falling below set limits are detected via single-channel diagnostics. Additional features such as automatic 50 Hz to 60 Hz suppression or external and internal cold junction compensation, as available in the RTD module, round out the range of functions.

Power measurement for 1- or 3-phase systems, rated voltage up to 300 V

The power measurement module is used to measure and process currents and voltages of single- or three-phase loads up to a rated voltage of 300 Vrms AC (phase and neutral). Reactive, apparent, and active power, energy consumption, phase angle, and many other electrical parameters are measured or calculated directly by the module. The data to be transmitted via the process data of the various fieldbuses can be selected via parameters.

As part of the u-remote system, Weidmüller offers a specialized solution for controlling small motors with current requirements ranging from 0.5 A to 2 A, which can also be used to control valve flaps. The pulse width modulation modules are adjustable within switching frequencies up to 40 kHz, and the push/pull output stages can be used in motor control to, for example, change the direction of rotation.

Weidmüller’s stepper motor control module is efficient and flexible for use in the automation of robots, handling systems, or placement machines equipped with stepper motors. Variably adjustable operating parameters and a wide-range power supply from 12 V DC to 50 V DC make the module versatile for a wide variety of applications. Six integrated, configurable encoder or digital inputs and two digital outputs rated at 0.5 A make the control module a complete solution in a compact design.

Detailed description

Designed specifically for these applications, Weidmüller offers a range of counter modules capable of recording values at input frequencies of up to 500 kHz. The synchronous serial interface (SSI) module enables highly accurate positioning tasks to be performed using absolute encoders. 
To this end, the module can be configured to operate in listening or master mode to accommodate all application scenarios. For frequency measurement up to 100 kHz, a module with a pulse input is available; the UR20-1CNT-500 module offers an input capable of detecting frequencies up to 500 kHz. The UR20-2CNT-100 module features two independent counter inputs; it is complemented by the UR20-1CNT-100-1DO module, which has only one counter but offers additional capabilities via a latch, gate, and reset input. This allows for external control of the counter. Additionally, this module can trigger an immediate event via a digital output when a set comparison value is reached.
The UR20-1COM-232-485-422 module offers advanced communication capabilities, allowing devices to be efficiently connected to u-remote via RS232, RS485, or RS422 interfaces. The UR20-1COM-SAI-PRO module provides a solution for connecting from the control cabinet to the field. Up to 15 decentralized IP67 SAI-PRO Subbus modules can be integrated into this gateway per u-remote module.
