The BLU operations control system for transshipment stations, developed by Berghof, has already been in use at Wiencont’s Vienna Freudenau terminal since 2008.

BLU, which was originally developed for the German market with Deutsche Bahn and DUSS, has also ensured that processes at the Vienna terminal have become more efficient and more transparent.

In Vienna, the BLU 2.0 version was successfully tested and integrated. The expanded and modified version is modular in structure and can thus optimally support all processes in front of, in and behind the terminal.

A wide range of systems can be integrated into the system or connected to BLU 2.0 via interfaces. These range from video gates that capture images and recognize delivered load units and delivering vehicles, to self-check-in terminals for truck drivers and automatic entry and exit control.

With the changeover to BLU 2.0, Wiencont is thus optimally prepared for the challenges of the present and the future.
