Successful launch of the new photovoltaic systems at the Eningen site of the Berghof Group

The new photovoltaic systems on the main Building of the Berghof Group and building of Berghof Fluoroplastics have been officially operational since October 2nd, following a one-month test phase. Covering a total area of 1,274 square metres and an output of 290 kWp, we have high expectations of the energy production. Our Head of Facility Management, David Rotfuss, is very pleased with the progress made so far.

The sunny autumn days have given us an excellent start,' says Rotfuss. We were able to produce over 12,000 kWh of electricity in the first month, which exceeded our expectations.

The systems, consisting of 658 modules, which have been continuously producing electricity since the test phase on September 2nd. “We estimate that we will produce around 240,000 kWh of electricity per year,' adds Rotfuss. This is a significant step towards sustainability and energy savings for our company.”

With the successful commissioning of the photovoltaic systems, we are sending a strong signal in favour of environmentally friendly energy production. We are looking forward to the coming months when we will be able to utilise the full output of the systems.

The new photovoltaic systems will now have a direct positive impact on the Berghof Group's carbon footprint and support the objectives of the sustainability project.
